Yay!

Falling asleep seems like such a little thing, but to parents of babies it's a monumental achievement.  Lydie finally is sleeping.  We put her down at 730 and she is asleep by 830 (usually).  We have to deal with some crying, but I have found that 730-830 is a wonderful time to go out and buy gas for the car or pick up some milk or GET LOST ON PURPOS.  LOL!

     It seems like such a very long time ago that this picture was taken.  We had just come home from the hospital and were totally ready to start our new life.  So, we went to the Forefront pool party for a little bit with Cute Lydie.  This is her only 4 days old.  Crazy.

Lydie Fell Asleep!!

This morning at 3:30am Lydie woke up.  I changed her very wet diaper and tried to get her back to sleep without feeding her.  That didn't go over well.  So I fed her.  That made her happy.  Then I swaddled her and put her IN THE CRIB in the sleep positioner.  She cried and cried and cried.  Then all of a sudden it was 6:30am and I didn't hear her.  I thought maybe she was in a lull and just whimpering for a bit.  NO!!  She fell asleep on her own!!  YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8pm Bath

We're trying to get Lydie on somewhat of a schedule.  We started giving her a bath at 8pm as suggested by Michele.  Today is day 2.  We'll see how it goes.
